# Kent Lithium Battery Safety — Field Installer के नियम

> Kent Lithium Battery हमेशा live है — सही isolation order, handling, storage 30-60% SOC, damaged pack protocol, field में क्या नहीं खोलते।

Lithium bank Kent सिस्टम का इकलौता हिस्सा है जिसे source पर कभी switch off नहीं किया जा सकता। ये नियम हर battery काम से पहले, दौरान और बाद में लागू हैं — कोई exception नहीं।

  **DANGER — battery हमेशा live है।** Terminals पर हर वक़्त पूरा pack voltage रहता है। कुछ भी connect करने से पहले polarity verify करें, tools insulated रखें, metal jewellery उतारें, और battery breaker बंद रहते terminals पर कभी काम न करें।

## शुरू करने से पहले

* किसी भी battery काम के लिए isolation का क्रम: **पहले battery** — [Isolation और Shutdown](/hi/safety/isolation-and-shutdown) के हिसाब से।
* Torque और cable sizes **platform items** हैं: इन्हें [Kent M1 Battery Wiring](/m1/battery-wiring) या [Kent G3 Battery Wiring](/g3/battery-wiring) से लें, याद्दाश्त से कभी नहीं।
* PPE [PPE और टूल्स](/hi/safety/ppe-and-tools) के हिसाब से: terminal के हर काम में insulated gloves और tools।

## Packs की handling और ढुलाई

* Packs भारी हैं — mechanical handling और सही उठाने की technique इस्तेमाल करें; pack को कभी उसकी cables या terminals से न घसीटें।
* ढुलाई के दौरान खुले packs एक-दूसरे पर न रखें; pack सीधा रहे और धक्के से बचा रहे।
* Lithium की transport dangerous-goods नियमों (UN3481 class) में आती है — packs अपनी packaging में, नियम से चलते हैं।

## Storage के नियम

Storage से पहले state of charge: **30% से 60%**। Pack को कभी full या खाली store न करें। Storage की उम्र temperature से तय होती है:

| Temperature range | Max storage |
| ----------------- | ----------- |
| −20 से 35 °C      | 12 महीने    |
| −20 से 45 °C      | 3 महीने     |
| −20 से 55 °C      | 1 महीना     |

हवादार, साफ़, सूखी, धूल से बची जगह पर रखें — condensation नहीं, equipment पर सीधी धूप नहीं।

<Warning>
  **Kent validation pending.** \[KNB-VAL-20] पूरे discharge के बाद pack को recharge करने की ज़्यादा से ज़्यादा window Kent battery team से confirm हो रही है। जब तक यहाँ publish न हो: **किसी भी deep discharge या लंबे outage के बाद जितनी जल्दी हो सके recharge करें — pack को कभी खाली पड़ा न छोड़ें, और खाली pack को कभी storage में न रखें।**

## ख़राब, leak करते या गड़बड़ packs

* जो pack **फूला, पिचका, leak करता, फुसफुसाता (hissing) या जले की बू देता** है — वह उसी वक़्त service से बाहर है: सुरक्षित पहुँच हो तो bank isolate करें, लोगों को दूर रखें, और Kent service को call करें।
* **ख़राब batteries कभी दोबारा इस्तेमाल नहीं होतीं** और कभी आम freight से नहीं भेजी जातीं — disposal Kent के channel से होता है।
* इस्तेमाल हुए या ख़राब packs को collection तक high temperature, सीधी धूप, नमी और corrosive माहौल से दूर रखें।

## Field में कोई क्या नहीं खोलता

Cells, BMS boards और pack की internal protection factory का इलाक़ा हैं — pack के अंदर कोई field-serviceable part नहीं है, और inverter का battery-circuit fuse भी field-replaceable नहीं है। Escalate करें, खोलें नहीं।

## आम गलतियाँ

* "Spare" packs full store करना "ताकि तैयार रहें" — storage की band 30–60% SOC है।
* अँगूठी या metal की watch strap पहने terminals पर काम।
* फूले pack को "अभी चलता है, अभी भेजो" मानना — वह hazard है, stock नहीं।
* मरे हुए pack को bench supply से jump-charge करना — official तरीके से wake करें; देखें [चार्ज / डिस्चार्ज नहीं हो रही](/hi/battery/not-charging-discharging)।
