पहनें — पूरे Job में
- Insulating gloves — live या stored-energy वाले किसी भी हिस्से के पास काम के लिए; साथ में handling के लिए mechanical gloves (units 19–42 kg class के हैं)।
- Safety shoes — battery के काम के लिए rubber-sole वाले।
- आँखों की सुरक्षा — crimping, drilling या battery terminals के काम में।
- घड़ी, अँगूठी या कोई metal jewellery नहीं — battery के काम के दौरान। Pack currents पर 51.2 V के आर-पार नंगा metal arc-flash event है।

Torque values platform और terminal के हिसाब से अलग हैं। वे अपने manual citations के साथ platform installation pages पर छपी हैं — Kent G3 के terminal पर Kent M1 का torque (या उल्टा) defect है, shortcut नहीं।
Battery के लिए ख़ास अनुशासन
- Packs पर कोई metallic tool रखा न रह जाए।
- Connection के ठीक पहले तक terminals ढके रहें।
- Pack को उसके handles से और सही manpower के साथ उठाएँ — F1 packs भारी हैं; कमर और पंजों का ध्यान रखें।
आम गलतियाँ
- हर चीज़ के लिए एक “universal” torque — कम कसे DC terminals आग का रास्ता हैं।
- 0.5 A वाली DC जाँच के लिए AC-only clamp meter — वह DC पर बकवास reading देता है।
- “बस बारीक काम के लिए” gloves उतारना — contact ठीक उसी वक़्त होता है।
