Crews that touch both Kent hybrid platforms make one class of error more than any other: carrying a number from one machine to the other. This is the only page in the Kent New Energy Knowledge Base where Kent M1 and Kent G3 values appear side by side — print it, laminate it, keep it in the van.

What is the SAME on both platforms

  • CT arrow points toward the grid, clamped at the grid connection point — the universal Kent rule.
  • Power sequences: ON is grid-AC first; OFF is battery first (exact reverse). The steps live on each platform’s commissioning page.
  • Battery window 40–60 V DC, BMS over CAN, and the Kent Lithium Battery’s 4-5 crossover comm cable rule.
  • CT ratio is read off the shipped CT’s nameplate — never assumed. [KNB-VAL-08]
  • Datalogger: fit physically, keep the port clean — activated with Kent Central Command — documentation to follow.
  • Escalation: Kent New Energy service only.

When in doubt: stop, open the platform’s own page, and work from there. The cheat card identifies the difference — it never replaces the procedure.

When to escalate

Escalate to Kent New Energy service only — through your registered Kent partner channel or the Kent service desk details on your work order. Do not contact any third-party or component-manufacturer support line for a Kent-branded system: tickets outside the Kent channel are not tracked, not covered, and can void warranty handling.
