Crews that work across both Kent hybrid platforms make one class of error more than any other: carrying a number from one machine to the other. This is the only page in the Kent Knowledge Base where M1 and G3 values appear side by side. Print it, laminate it, keep it in the van.
For trained and authorized installers only. This card is for identifying the difference — work is always executed from the platform’s own pages, never from memory of the other machine.

The dangerous differences

These are the values that get mixed up between platforms. Applying the wrong one causes hardware damage, compliance failures, or unsafe operation.

Pending Kent validation. [KNB-VAL-11] The Kent M1 parallel unit limit is under confirmation. Until published here: use only published Kent examples for M1 parallel installations — do not extrapolate.
Pending Kent validation. [KNB-VAL-05] The exact on-screen battery-brand label for Kent M1 is under confirmation. The crossover cable rule and pairing requirements are confirmed — use the Kent battery pages for the current label.

What is the SAME on both platforms

These rules apply identically on every Kent hybrid site regardless of platform:
  • CT arrow points toward the grid, clamped at the grid connection point. This is the universal Kent rule on both platforms.
  • Power sequences: ON is grid AC first; OFF is battery first (exact reverse). The exact steps are on each platform’s commissioning page.
  • Battery voltage window 40–60 V DC, BMS over CAN, and the Kent F1 comm cable 4–5 crossover rule.
  • CT ratio is read from the shipped CT’s nameplate — never assumed or carried over from another site.
  • Datalogger: fit the stick physically and keep the port clean. Activation is with Kent Central Command — documentation to follow.
  • Escalation route: Kent New Energy service only — no platform exceptions.

The rule that overrides this card

When in doubt: stop, open the platform’s own page, and work from there. The cheat card identifies the difference — it never replaces the procedure.
